Oulton Park is gearing up for a terrific day of racing this Saturday (August 30) when a ten race BRSCC Club Car Championship meeting takes place.
The Toyo Tires Porsche Championship will be first up with some single make German Sportscar action. Much like international GT competitions this championship is divided into classes with varying levels of competition, ranging from the quickest cars in the Boxter Class to the retro machinery in the 924 class.
Elsewhere there will be one make action from the Ford XR Challenge & Scottish Ford Fiesta Championship. One make series from the Blue Oval marquee typically produces some of the finest racing in club motorsport and there is no reason why this weekend should be any different. Ford involvement also extends into the world of single seaters with a host of Formula Ford races.
The programme will be completed by pocket-sized entertainment from the BRSCC’s own Super Mighty Minis Championship. Mini racing is a joy to behold more often than not and always a fine addition to the schedule!
The paddock will also be open, allowing fans to meet the drivers and teams as well as get a closer look at the cars.
